ABOUT

Deniz Bulat is an actor, writer, producer with a Drama degree from New York University, Tisch School of Arts. 

 

Recently, she acted in Enough About Love a short film directed by Gary O. Bennett and Öte, a feature film directed by Esra Saydam and Malik Isasis. Besides her acting role in Öte, she was an associate producer and the unit production manager of the film, which had its premiere at Tribeca Film Festival 2023 and its international premiere at International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.

 

Deniz Bulat, performed in a devised immersive theater piece, This Is Me Eating __  produced by Et Alia Theater and directed by Debora Balardini, and Tangled a one woman play directed by Kadri Özcan. 

 

Previously she acted in Loners directed by Alyssa Rallo Bennett and Angel directed by Amelia Annen. Angel, for which Deniz also has a writer credit for, won awards for Best Comedy Short Film and Best Actress in Comedy in İstanbul Film Awards. 

 

While Deniz was studying at NYU, she acted in plays Stupid F**king Bird and Romeo and Juliet.

After years of studying and working in NYC, she has moved back to her home country, and has been an actor based in Turkey ever since, represented by Poro Management.
